Workout Purpose
Your plan includes bike workouts designed to improve functional threshold power, aerobic endurance, anaerobic capacity, muscular endurance, and speed skills.
Each session is structured using 5 Training Zones. In the first week of your plan, you’ll complete a bike fitness test that sets your training thresholds - key to structure your training at the correct intensity.
Following Your Workouts
You can follow the workouts in two ways:
Power-based — export the session to your compatible app or device and ride to the prescribed power zones.
Heart Rate or RPE-based — use the workout description and follow the intensity using heart rate or perceived effort.
Before starting the plan, make sure your thresholds are entered correctly in your TrainingPeaks settings.
Device Settings
If you follow workouts using heart rate, the training zones on your device must match the MyProCoach Bike HR zones in your TrainingPeaks account. This ensures you can accurately stay within the correct HR zone during each interval.
