Your training plan is designed to prepare you for your chosen race type. You are free to switch workouts and remain flexible with your plan. However, be mindful that substituting race-specific workouts with other fitness activities will likely compromise your target race outcome.
Plan Level
Consider capitalising on opportunities for a more holistic approach to fitness. Opting for a plan with fewer training hours than you have available can allow you to enjoy other activities while ensuring structured race-specific progression.
TrainingPeaks Premium
With a Premium TrainingPeaks account, you can easily rearrange future planned workouts. It is simple to drag and drop workouts to fit your schedule. With the free account, you can only adjust workouts to and from the current date. Once you train with us, our coaches can advise if you wish to rearrange workouts within your plan or incorporate B/C priority races.
Other Activity TSS
To estimate TSS, you need to know both the duration and intensity of the workout. You can use the Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE) or Average Max Heart Rate to assess intensity.
