As a MyProCoach Unlimited Athlete Plus (UA+), you have access to 85 additional standalone workouts in TrainingPeaks, giving you more flexibility when you need to switch or add a session.
Where to find and manage these workouts
The easiest way to find and manage these workouts is on the TrainingPeaks web/desktop version.
In the Calendar view, open the Workout Library. You’ll see folders for each discipline:
- UA+: Swim Workouts (MyProCoach)
- UA+: Bike Workouts (MyProCoach)
- UA+: Run Workouts (MyProCoach)
- UA+: Strength Workouts (MyProCoach)
Open the relevant folder, choose a workout and add it to your calendar.
When to use them
Your main MyProCoach training plan should still provide the overall structure for your training. The additional workouts are there when you need more flexibility.
Add a session
If you have room for an extra swim, bike, run or strength session, choose a suitable workout from the library.
Replace a discipline temporarily
If an injury prevents you from doing one discipline, you may be able to train in another that is pain-free. For example, if you can’t run but can still bike or swim, you can choose an appropriate alternative from the library.
Focus on an area you’d like to improve
You may have an opportunity to add some extra training in a particular discipline. For example, if you want to improve your cycling and have the capacity within your week, you could add a suitable bike workout.
Keep the bigger picture in mind
When adding or replacing workouts, consider how they fit with the rest of your training week. Avoid placing demanding sessions back-to-back and make sure you have enough recovery around your key workouts.
If you’re unsure about which workout to choose, whether to add or replace a session, or how it fits with the rest of your training, ask your coach for guidance.
Use the Workout Library when you need some extra flexibility, while keeping the wider structure and purpose of your training plan in mind.
