Using Stryd With TrainingPeaks
You can add your Stryd thresholds — including Critical Power — directly into TrainingPeaks. This helps TrainingPeaks calculate accurate intensity targets so your run workouts match your current fitness.
Adding your thresholds also allows TrainingPeaks to create training zones for Power, Pace, Heart Rate, and RPE.
Before You Start
In the first week of your MyProCoach plan (and at regular retest points), you’ll complete fitness tests to identify your:
Critical Power (CP)
Threshold Pace
Threshold Heart Rate (THR)
Once you have these values, update your TrainingPeaks settings.
How to Update Your Thresholds in TrainingPeaks (Laptop/PC Only)
1. Add Critical Power
Go to Your Name → Settings → Zones.
Select Power.
Add Activity: Run.
Enter your Critical Power (CP) or rFTP as your Threshold Power.
Set Type: Threshold Power and Method: MyProCoach Running.
Apply, then Save & Close.
2. Add Threshold Pace
Go to Your Name → Settings → Zones.
Select Speed/Pace.
Add Activity: Run.
Enter your Threshold Pace from your fitness test.
Set Type: Threshold Speed and Method: MyProCoach Running.
Apply, then Save & Close.
3. Add Threshold Heart Rate
Go to Your Name → Settings → Zones.
Select Heart Rate.
Add Activity: Run.
Enter your Threshold Heart Rate (THR).
Set Type: Lactate Threshold and Method: MyProCoach Running.
Apply, then Save & Close.
