If your TrainingPeaks workouts aren’t appearing on your Garmin device, try the steps below.
1. Check the TrainingPeaks–Garmin Connection
In TrainingPeaks, go to Settings → Connections.
Make sure Garmin Connect is connected.
2. Send the Workout to Garmin
Open your TrainingPeaks Calendar.
Select the workout and choose Send to Garmin (or Sync to Garmin, depending on device).
3. Sync Your Garmin Device
Ensure your device is connected to the Garmin Connect app (Bluetooth or USB).
Open Garmin Connect to trigger a sync.
If needed, sync manually via Garmin Connect or Garmin Express.
4. Check Device Storage
Your device may not accept new workouts if storage is full.
Delete older workouts or unused files if necessary.
5. Confirm Workout Compatibility
Some Garmin devices only support certain types of structured workouts.
Check that the workout type is supported by your model.
6. Update Apps and Firmware
Make sure your Garmin device firmware is current.
Update the Garmin Connect app and TrainingPeaks app.
7. Reconnect Garmin and TrainingPeaks
If syncing still fails, disconnect and reconnect Garmin Connect in TrainingPeaks → Settings → Connections.
If you’ve tried everything and workouts still won’t export, contact TrainingPeaks or Garmin support for device-specific help.
