Sometimes it can look like your TrainingPeaks workout has two different sets of instructions for the same session. There are two separate sections:
The Description section of the workout consists of hand-typed instructions by Phil. You should always follow this first.
The Workout Details section gives you automatically generated instructions, based on percentages of your Functional Threshold Power (FTP) or Threshold Run Pace.
When you export your workouts to your watch or computer, this is the version you'll get.
Check that your FTP and Threshold Run Pace thresholds are up to date and accurate in your TrainingPeaks settings:
Enter or Update Your Threshold and Training Zones in TrainingPeaks (Bike)
Enter or Update Your Thresholds and Training Zones in TrainingPeaks (Run)
There are regular fitness tests to check your planned intensities increase as you progress. Check that your settings are up-to-date to provide you with the best training.
