Run Using Power
You can use run power to follow your workouts more precisely, either with Stryd or other power meters.
For Stryd Users
Stryd can convert pace-based TrainingPeaks workouts to power-based workouts:
Add a pace-based plan to your TrainingPeaks calendar.
Open the Stryd app → Settings → Connected Accounts → ensure TrainingPeaks is connected.
Select your third-party platform → Manually Sync Workouts.
Exit Settings, go to Calendar, and view your MyProCoach workout with planned power.
Full guide: Stryd’s article on converting workouts.
For Other Run Power Meters
To use a non-Stryd power meter:
Set Your Run Power Threshold in TrainingPeaks (rFTP or Critical Power).
Use the MyProCoach auto-calculator to create personalized zones.
Export Workouts Using Power (TrainingPeaks Premium required):
Open your TrainingPeaks calendar on a PC.
Click the workout → blue graph → change units to % Functional Threshold Power (FTP).
Update zones to match the workout description.
Click Save and Close—your workout is ready for export.
Tips:
Zone 1–2 workouts: train at the top or bottom of the range.
Upper/lower zones: train within the specified range (e.g., Zone 2).
Hybrid Training
Use pace or heart rate for steady-state runs—no changes needed.
Enter run pace, power, and heart rate thresholds in TrainingPeaks for better post-workout analysis.

Howdy folks - in my current program I have started doing the above, changing the individual run sessions across to be based on threshold power instead of pace to then use with the Stryd App on my Forerunner 945 - however, is there a way to change all the run sessions across to power in bulk? Thanks :)
Hi Mark,
Thanks for checking. I am sorry - there is no way to bulk change the workouts - each one is built individually. We hope that TrainingPeaks can introduce that function soon!
