Planned & Completed Workouts in TrainingPeaks
When you complete a workout, TrainingPeaks compares your planned vs actual data and changes the colour of the workout box in your calendar.
Workout Colour Codes
Green – Within ±20% of the plan (completed as expected)
Yellow – 50–79% or 121–150% of planned values (moderate deviation)
Orange – More than 50% above or below plan (significant deviation)
Red – Workout not completed
Grey – Completed but not planned, or activity not synced
Syncing Completed Workouts
You can manually mark workouts as complete, but for accurate data and fewer admin tasks, we recommend setting up automatic syncing.
Once connected, your device or training app will push completed activities directly into your TrainingPeaks calendar.
