Although you cannot export your workouts from TrainingPeaks to your Wattbike directly, you can do so by subscribing to Wattbike Hub.
Wattbike Hub is ideal if you want Wattbike's power and pedal technique metrics, without on-screen videos. It's great if you regularly train on Wattbikes in a gym.
Your Wattbike Hub account can be connected to any Wattbike that it detects is nearby, making it a good portable option for your training.
Step One: Export your workouts from your plan on your TrainingPeaks calendar to your downloads.
- Open the workout card on TrainingPeaks.
- Click the arrow to the right of the workout title to export the workout file.
- Choose ERG as your file type.
Your file will be downloaded to your Downloads folder (or the location where your device saves downloaded files).
Step Two: Import your workout to Wattbike Hub
- Open your Wattbike Hub app and select 'Workouts'
- Scroll to 'Custom Workouts'.
- Select ‘Add’ > ‘Import A File’.
- Navigate to where you downloaded your file, select your workout file, and then Save.
Step Three: Enjoy your ride!
- Select the play icon (red triangle) on the workout
- On the top right-hand corner of the screen, you will be prompted to select the bike ID from the list of known Wattbikes detected.
- Once you have selected the Wattbike you are using, the workout will give you a 5-second countdown before the session starts.
To import your Wattbike data files to your TrainingPeaks account, you will need to follow these instructions by Wattbike to connect your accounts and sync your data.
